Summary

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Systems Administrator to join a growing User Productivity Solutions team. This role supports end-user computing environments, including endpoint management, Microsoft 365, and virtual desktop technologies. The ideal candidate is driven, eager to learn, and ready to take ownership of projects in a collaborative team environment.
This position was previously offered to a strong candidate profile, and we are specifically looking for someone with a similar blend of technical ability, initiative, and user-focused mindset.

Team & Environment

You will join a team of three supporting enterprise user productivity solutions. The broader team includes endpoint administrators and Level 2 support resources.
The group is led by a Service Manager based in South Dakota and is responsible for:
  • Endpoint management (Windows & Mac)
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Virtual desktops (Citrix today; moving toward Azure Virtual Desktop)
  • Intune policies and imaging
  • Limited JAMF support for Apple devices

This role is intended to add capacity so the team can take on and own projects, not just handle day-to-day administration.

Key Responsibilities

End-User Support & Administration

  • Diagnose, track, and resolve technical issues related to end-user computing
  • Provide break/fix support for hardware and software
  • Fulfill service requests including application installs and workstation setup

Endpoint & Device Management

  • Administer Windows endpoints via Microsoft Intune
  • Manage imaging, configurations, policies, and compliance
  • Support desktops (physical and virtual), laptops, tablets, printers, and peripherals
  • Assist with IT asset lifecycle management and inventory tracking

Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Support and administer Microsoft 365 applications and services
  • Ensure reliable performance of user productivity tools

Virtual Desktop Support

  • Support existing virtual desktop environments (Citrix)
  • Participate in planning and migration efforts toward Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

Apple & Mobile Device Support (Preferred)

  • Support Mac and mobile devices using JAMF
  • Perform routine updates and maintenance

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 3+ years of endpoint management experience
  • Hands-on Microsoft Intune administration (required)
  • 2+ years of Microsoft 365 administration
  • 2+ years supporting virtual desktop environments (Citrix or AVD preferred)

Technical Skills

  • Windows administration

Additional Qualifications

  • JAMF MDM experience (preferred)
  • macOS management experience (preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
