Cloud Migration Specialist

Job Summary:

• Client is looking for a Data & Document Migration Specialist with hands-on experience in migrating content, documents, and datasets between enterprise systems.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL processes, SSIS, and CMS-to-CMS migrations, particularly in environments involving Azure Blob Storage and SharePoint Embedded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute document and data migration from one Content Management System (CMS) to another—specifically from Azure Blob Storage to SharePoint Embedded.
• Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages to support data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, product owners, and business stakeholders, to capture requirements and validate migrated content.
• Troubleshoot migration issues, optimize workflows, and ensure successful cutover and post-migration validation.
• Document processes, workflows, and best practices for ongoing and future migration activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with CMS document/data migration projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Solid understanding of Azure Blob Storage and SharePoint (preferably SharePoint Embedded).
• Experience working with large datasets and enterprise-grade content repositories.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with KingswaySoft data integration tools.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform components (Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus.
