Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer to join our QA team. This role combines traditional manual testing expertise with modern AI-assisted workflows, using tools like Claude and Cursor to accelerate test case design, documentation, and coverage analysis. The ideal candidate is comfortable both executing hands-on manual testing and leveraging AI tools to work faster and more thoroughly.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to design comprehensive manual test cases
Use Claude and/or Cursor to generate, refine, and expand test case drafts, edge cases, and test data based on requirements and existing documentation
Review and validate AI-generated test cases for accuracy, relevance, and completeness before execution
Execute manual test cases across web, mobile, and/or API interfaces (as applicable)
Log, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
Perform regression, exploratory, smoke, and UAT testing as needed
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in manual software testing (QA)
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
Practical, hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar) for generating or assisting with test case creation
Experience writing clear, structured test cases and bug reports
Preferred Qualifications
Experience prompting AI tools effectively for QA use cases (writing prompts that produce structured, edge-case-aware test scenarios)
Basic familiarity with API testing (Postman) or SQL for data validation
