Summary

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to guide our program teams in adopting and sustaining Agile methodologies. This role is critical in supporting the implementation of Agile practices, driving continuous process improvement, and building out robust reporting frameworks. The Agile Coach will serve as a partner to leadership and delivery teams, helping to shape processes, establish metrics, and foster a culture of adaptability and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agile Transformation & Implementation
    • Lead Agile adoption across program teams, supporting Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks as appropriate.
    • Coach teams and individuals at all levels on Agile principles, values, best practices, and tools.
    • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups), and promote effective collaboration.
  • Process Establishment & Improvement
    • Partner with stakeholders to define, document, and refine operational processes supporting program delivery.
    • Identify process bottlenecks and pain points, recommending and implementing targeted improvements.
    • Establish feedback loops to continuously modify processes based on team and business needs.
  • Reporting & Metrics Enablement
    • Design and build program and team-level reporting for performance, progress, and quality (e.g., dashboards, burn-up/down charts, velocity, cycle time).
    • Work with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess Agile maturity and delivery effectiveness.
    • Train teams to interpret and leverage data for continuous improvement.
  • Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Drive cultural change and mindset shifts required for Agile success.
    • Communicate progress, impact, and outcomes to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 7 years of experience coaching Agile teams within large-scale programs or organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and related ceremonies.
  • Experience in process design, optimization, and change management.
  • Expertise in developing reporting/dashboards and KPI definition for Agile environments.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence outcomes in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, Certified Agile Coach) preferred.
