Position: Database Developer

Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Database Developer to join their team!

This is a direct hire opportunity with a stable organization that values collaboration, work-life balance, and continuous learning. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing database and data warehouse solutions that support critical business operations. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Design and maintain database and data warehouse structures
Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures
Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems
Improve performance through tuning, indexing, and optimization
Support data quality, accuracy, and integrity across systems
Create technical documentation, test plans, and conversion plans
Investigate and resolve technical issues through debugging
Collaborate with users and internal teams on data solutions
Assist with database administration tasks and system maintenance

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Experience with data types and data type conversion
Strong SQL Server expertise, including SSRS and SSIS
Hands-on experience with MySQL
Advanced knowledge of stored procedures and SQL best practices
Experience with relational database and table design
Working knowledge of data modeling and entity-relationship design
Understanding of data sources such as ODBC, Excel, text, and XML
Experience with source system data in SQL-based environments
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Experience with Aurora, Redshift, or Snowflake
Familiarity with Pyramid or Power BI
DBA knowledge, including jobs, permissions, indexes, and logs
Experience in insurance or other regulated industries
Familiarity with ETL development
Experience working with a small development team
