Job Overview:
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MLOps Technical Lead to design, build, and scale production-grade AI systems and backend services.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and deploying AI/LLM-based solutions at scale.
  • This role requires a hands-on engineer who can develop, deploy, and maintain robust AI-driven applications in production environments.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • 3+ years of experience building production backend or distributed systems prior to AI exposure.
  • Proven experience delivering production AI or LLM-based features serving real users at scale.
  • Experience building AI agents, tools, or Model Context Protocol integrations.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for backend development.
  • Working knowledge of Go, TypeScript, or Rust.
  • Deep experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure, including cost optimization and compute decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for building, deploying, debugging, and scaling services.
  • Strong understanding of LLM integration including token usage, context limits, rate limiting, structured outputs, and API failure handling.
  • Experience evaluating LLM outputs and handling challenges such as non-determinism, quality measurement, and regression detection.
  • Ability to write code, debug production issues, and independently deploy solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable backend systems supporting AI-driven applications.
  • Develop and deploy AI/LLM-based features into production environments.
  • Build and manage containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across cloud platforms.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and improve AI model outputs and system reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
Should Have:
  • Experience building multi-step agentic workflows with tool usage and function calling.
  • Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks or custom-built solutions.
  • Experience implementing guardrails, fallbacks, and graceful degradation in AI systems.
  • Knowledge of streaming inference and asynchronous agent orchestration.
  • Experience with cost and latency optimization techniques such as caching, batching, and prompt compression.
  • Familiarity with ML observability tools and monitoring solutions.
  • Understanding of retrieval systems such as vector or hybrid search.

Qualification And Education:
