Role: MS Dynamics 365 or Power Platform Developer

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions for TEA enterprise applications. 
• Hands-on experience across Front-end customization, back-end development, and structured team-based development practices:
• Develop and customize Model-Driven Apps and Dataverse-based solutions.
• Build server-side components (plugins, integrations, APIs using C#/.NET)
• Implement client-side customizations (JavaScript, form scripting, PCF controls)
• Design and build data integrations (REST APIs, ETL, Dataflows)
• Manage solution lifecycle using Git-based source control and CI/CD processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with root cause analysis
• Collaborate in a multi-developer team environment with a shared codebase
• Produce and maintain technical and deployment documentation

Minimum Requirements:

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
• 6+ years of experience building Model-Driven Apps.
• 6+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dataverse, including tables, relationships, and the security model.
• 6+ years of experience developing C# plugins and server-side extensions for Dynamics 365.
• 6+ years of experience with JavaScript customization in Dynamics 365 and Power Apps.
• 6+ years of experience integrating applications using REST APIs.
• 6+ years of experience using Git in a collaborative development environment, including feature branching, pull requests, code reviews, and merge/conflict resolution.
• 6+ years of experience working in a multi-developer environment with a shared codebase and version control best practices.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience developing Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls.
• 2+ years of experience integrating Power BI, including reporting, embedding, and data modelling.
• 2+ years of experience with Power Pages development and configuration.
• 2+ years of experience using Power Platform Dataflows for ETL and data ingestion.
• 2+ years of experience working in Government/Public Sector environments, preferably with Texas Education Agency (TEA).
• Microsoft Certifications such as PL-400 (Power Platform Developer) and/or PL-600 (Power Platform Solution Architect) preferred.
