SOA Developer (Java / API / Microservices)

Overview
We are seeking a SOA Developer with strong experience in enterprise integration, API development, and microservices architecture to support large-scale distributed applications. The ideal candidate will design and develop REST and SOAP services, implement service integrations, and build scalable APIs that support enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
This role will work closely with solution architects, DevOps teams, and application developers to design and implement service-based integrations across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop SOA-based services and APIs for enterprise applications
• Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services
• Develop integrations between enterprise applications, databases, and cloud services
• Create reusable service components following SOA and microservices design principles
• Perform API development, service orchestration, and service lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and service performance issues
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployments
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes
Required Skills
• 5+ years experience in SOA development or enterprise integration
• Strong experience with Java development
• Experience building REST APIs and SOAP Web Services
• Experience with SOA frameworks or middleware platforms, such as:
• Experience with XML, JSON, WSDL, XSD, SOAP, REST
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Jira)
