Build, Install & Protect What Matters Most

We're hiring an experienced Security Systems Installation Technician to join a growing team supporting commercial security and life safety projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving problems in the field, and working with advanced security technologies in commercial environments.
You'll be responsible for installing and supporting alarm systems, fire alarms, CCTV, and access control systems for a variety of commercial clients while working alongside a professional and team-oriented group.

What You'll Be Doing

Security & Low Voltage Installation

  • Install commercial alarm, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems
  • Perform system upgrades, expansions, and device additions
  • Mount and wire cameras, panels, readers, devices, and related hardware
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and signal verification
  • Program and configure security systems and connected devices
  • Ensure all work meets job specifications, code requirements, and industry standards

Customer & Project Support

  • Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality
  • Read and interpret blueprints, project notes, and installation drawings
  • Support project schedules and coordinate tasks in active construction environments
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, project managers, and team members

Daily Field Responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly
  • Use hand tools, ladders, and scissor lifts as needed
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing field development opportunities

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years of commercial alarm or low-voltage installation experience
  • Experience installing and servicing:
    • Access Control Systems
    • CCTV / IP Video Systems
    • Fire Alarm Systems
    • Intrusion / Burglar Alarm Systems
  • Knowledge of building codes, electrical standards, and low-voltage installation practices
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical project documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Preferred Experience

  • Structured cabling or communications cabling experience
  • Experience working on both small and large commercial projects
  • Familiarity with construction schedules and job site coordination
  • Lift and scissor lift experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
