Title: Data Analyst
Location: San Antonio, TX or Findlay, OH - Hybrid onsite 4 days a week

Job Description:
We are looking for a Data Analyst with at least 5+ years of IT experience. This resource must have SQL and Power BI experience.
*Any Refinery, Oil & gas or Energy domain experience is always a plus but not required.
Position Summary
The successful candidate must possess strong SQL and Power BI experience and be capable of immediately supporting existing reporting, analytics, and data management activities. This individual will support and enhance Power BI reporting, perform complex data analysis utilizing data from the Risk Data Warehouse (RDW), and help advance strategic data transformation initiatives including data topology discovery, data lineage analysis, reporting rationalization, and future-state reporting design.
This role will play a key part in accelerating the Middle Office target-state transformation by helping establish foundational data understanding, improving reporting capabilities, and supporting the organization's overall data maturity journey.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and analytical visualizations supporting Middle Office stakeholders.
Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting, data analysis, data validation, root cause investigations, and business intelligence initiatives.
Analyze and validate data from the Risk Data Warehouse (RDW) and other enterprise data sources to ensure accurate and trusted reporting.
Support reporting migration, reporting rationalization, and modernization efforts associated with Middle Office transformation initiatives.
Conduct data topology discovery and documentation activities to identify data sources, business ownership, data flows, reporting dependencies, and consumption patterns.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
At least 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or analytics.
Advanced SQL experience required.
Hands-on Power BI development experience required.
Experience creating complex reports, dashboards, data models, and analytical visualizations.
Experience working with enterprise data warehouses and relational databases.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data investigation skills.
Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting and analytical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Risk Data Warehouse (RDW) or comparable enterprise data warehouse environments.
Experience supporting Commercial, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, or Energy Trading organizations.
Experience with data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality initiatives.
Experience supporting business transformation, reporting modernization, or data maturity programs.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating with Digital technology teams.
