Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Developer with strong expertise in Embedded Linux, C programming, and Wi-Fi networking. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and debugging embedded software for networking devices, with deep knowledge of Wi-Fi protocols, TCP/IP networking, and VPN technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, integrate, and optimize embedded software solutions for next-generation connected devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software applications using C on Embedded Linux.
• Develop and debug Wi-Fi (Layer 1/Layer 2) features for embedded networking devices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize wireless connectivity, network performance, and system reliability.
• Implement and support networking protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, HTTP, and VPN.
• Work with IEEE 802.11 wireless standards, including WPA, RADIUS, WPS, and 802.11n/ac.
• Analyze system logs, debug complex networking issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, QA, and system engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and software integration activities.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable embedded software solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Embedded Linux software development.
• Strong programming skills in C.
• Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi development and debugging (L1/L2).
• Strong understanding of IEEE 802.11/Wi-Fi protocols including WPA, RADIUS, WPS, and 802.11n/ac.
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP internals and networking protocols such as DHCP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Experience with VPN technologies and common networking protocols.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with embedded networking devices such as routers, gateways, or IoT devices.
• Familiarity with Linux kernel, device drivers, and networking stack.
• Experience using debugging and profiling tools in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of software version control systems such as Git.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
