POSITION OVERVIEW

The New York State Office of Mental Health is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to lead application-development projects involving systems design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventive maintenance, and security procedures.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must clearly demonstrate the following experience in their résumé:

  • 108 months of experience as a lead developer on projects performing and implementing systems design, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventive maintenance, and security procedures.

  • 108 months of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to design and develop complex n-tier web applications using C#, ASP.NET/MVC, .NET Core, and modern programming principles, including object-oriented, scalable, maintainable, single-responsibility, and application-security standards.

  • 96 months of experience developing and maintaining web applications utilizing HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Cascading Style Sheets.

  • 96 months of experience with Oracle 11g or higher, including database design, PL/SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, functions, cursors, indexes, triggers, table creation, and Oracle SQL query optimization.

  • 96 months of experience developing HTML reports and/or reports using Crystal Reports version 10 or higher and invoking those reports from .NET applications.

  • 84 months of experience creating and reading formal technical documentation based on system requirements, interpreting and analyzing business requirements, and building application logic to meet those requirements.

  • 60 months of experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010 or later, Azure DevOps, or GitLab for development activities and source control.

  • 48 months of experience developing applications that comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.

  • 36 months of experience designing and implementing applications containing healthcare data covered by HIPAA Protected Health Information requirements.
