General Summary:

Responsible for day-to-day technical support of all phone system and desktop hardware/software applications and peripheral equipment via remote tools, phone, and in-person visits as needed. Provides support to the IT staff regarding special projects and hardware/software implementation.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software problems, including Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Support Operational Technology (OT) systems, including software updates, basic troubleshooting, and user assistance.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain AV equipment such as projectors, conference room systems, and video conferencing tools.
  • Serve as Level 1 support for internally developed applications, helping users with basic issues and escalating complex problems to development teams.
  • Manage and track incoming IT support tickets in Jira, ensuring timely response and resolution.
  • Assist with account management, password resets, and access permissions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and IT inventory.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Ensure systems are updated, secure, and functioning optimally.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all end-users.


Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven experience in desktop support or IT help desk roles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience using Jira or similar ticketing systems.
  • Basic knowledge of OT systems is a plus.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting AV equipment.
  • Experience providing Level 1 support for internally developed applications is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • May require occasional after-hours or on-call support.
  • Hands-on work with computers, peripherals, OT, AV, and internally developed applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, etc.) preferred.
