Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee the technology operations for our organization in the Washington, DC Metro area. This role involves managing IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and driving innovative solutions to support business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and technical expertise to enhance organizational efficiency and security.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the organization's IT systems, including Active Directory and Cisco technologies.
Oversee backup strategies and ensure data integrity through effective backup technologies.
Lead configuration management processes to ensure systems are properly documented and updated.
Supervise the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that align with business goals.
Ensure the security and reliability of IT systems by proactively addressing potential risks.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Monitor and optimize system performance to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
Stay updated on emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions for organizational growth.
Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to manage IT-related projects and procurement.
Requirements
Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, including Active Directory and Cisco technologies.
Hands-on expertise in backup technologies and strategies for data protection.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Proficiency in configuration management tools and practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Familiarity with IT security protocols and risk management.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders and vendors.
Ability to stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
