We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong background in E-Commerce to bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into actionable insights, ensuring smooth execution of e-commerce initiatives and digital transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to gather and document business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer behavior studies to support product and platform enhancements.
- Translate business goals into technical and functional requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Analyze and optimize customer journeys, conversion funnels, and order management workflows.
- Evaluate e-commerce platform performance using data-driven insights (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau) to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with UI/UX teams to ensure user-friendly and conversion-optimized designs.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, sprint planning, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to validate system enhancements.
- Work closely with technical teams on platform integrations such as payment gateways, ERP, CRM, OMS, and third-party logistics solutions.
- Support A/B testing, personalization, and SEO/SEM initiatives to enhance customer experience and online visibility.
- Prepare business requirement documents (BRD), functional specification documents (FSD), and process documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
· 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in E-Commerce, Retail, or Digital Platforms.
· Strong understanding of E-Commerce ecosystems (catalog management, pricing, promotions, cart & checkout, fulfillment, returns, etc.).
· Hands-on experience with platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or equivalent.
· Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio).
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
· Ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
