Role: Senior Application Systems Analyst and Designer
Location: Raleigh, NC - Hybrid
· Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and engineers.
· Document and illustrate design ideas using POCs.
· Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
· Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
· Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
· Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
· Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
· Help creating user stories based on the application design
· Help creating test scenarios and help test in some scenarios
Required Skills:
· Proven work experience as a Application Systems Analyst and Designer or similar role for web applications
· Proven experience working on a variety of design projects involving web based applications
· Up-to-date knowledge and hands on working experience of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
· Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency; independently identify options
· Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures
· Business knowledge and experience implementing SNAP and other federal programs as per the policy requirements.
· Experience designing applications using the social services case management COTS products
· Experience designing and/or developing dashboards using Power BI
· Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) development
· Experience designing applications using low code no code technologies like Salesforce, Microsoft dynamics and others.
· Knowledgeable in DevOps practices and Shift Left testing
