Tech Business Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Chicago, IL Hybrid (Minimum 2 days/week in office)
Experience : 6+ Years: ( 3+ Years Tech Experience + Recent experience as B.A)
Qualifications :
Technical Background: Proven experience in product development, with a strong
understanding of cloud data products. (Experience in Java/Python/ SQL/ or Any backend
technology is preferable- minimum 2 years)
Work with engineers to understand workflows, data models, logic, and dependencies.
Document how the systems behave and what they do today.
Product Ownership: Previous experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with a track
record of successfully delivering products.
Agile Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile practices and principles.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to
detail.
Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams, driving them towards achieving project
goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certifications.
Cloud Expertise : Fair understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS/ Google Cloud.
Technical Tools: Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize
requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Epic and User Story Writing: Write clear and concise epics and user stories, ensuring they are
well-defined and actionable for the development team.
Agile Practices: Follow and promote Agile methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, daily
stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to the development team,
leveraging your background in development or DevOps.
Cloud Product Knowledge: Utilize your knowledge of cloud products to inform product
development and ensure scalability and reliability.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that products meet quality standards through rigorous testing and
validation processes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement
best practices to enhance product development.
