Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with 7+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in test automation, API testing, Java/Python, Selenium, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing automated test frameworks, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and reliability of applications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Create and execute UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
  • Develop automation solutions using Java/Python and Selenium.
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Rest Assured, Postman, or similar frameworks.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, test planning, and test case development.
  • Develop reusable automation components and improve existing test frameworks.
  • Perform database validation using SQL.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and automation strategies.
Required Skills
  • 7+ years of experience in Software Testing / SDET / QA Automation.
  • Strong programming experience in Java or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Strong experience with API testing and REST services.
  • Experience with Rest Assured, Postman, or similar API testing tools.
  • Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of JUnit/TestNG, Maven/Gradle, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
  • Strong SQL and database testing skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Good understanding of SDLC/STLC, defect management, and QA processes.
