We are looking for an experienced Marketing & Proposal Manager to join our team in Pasadena, California. This role is perfect for someone who is detail oriented, with a proven track record in creating compelling proposals, developing strategic marketing campaigns, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality work that aligns with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the creation and management of winning proposals, ensuring they are tailored to client needs and meet all requirements.
Collaborate with leadership to identify strategic opportunities that align with business goals and expand service offerings.
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and increase market share.
Manage the production of marketing materials, including company newsletters, to effectively communicate the organization's values and services.
Conduct thorough reviews of sales opportunities to align resources with business priorities.
Lead project kick-off meetings and strategy sessions to ensure successful proposal development.
Establish and maintain a digital database to track the lifecycle of opportunities, client interactions, and project histories.
Ensure the organization maintains relevant certifications and utilizes them effectively in marketing efforts.
Oversee the company's online presence, including the website and social media platforms, to strengthen brand identity.
Support business development functions with assets for marketing, proposal presentations, events, and networking content
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in proposal development and marketing within AEC industry
Proven ability to write and manage high-quality proposals that align with client requirements and business goals.
Strong strategic and analytical skills to assess opportunities and develop effective marketing plans.
Experience implementing and maintaining a proposal management process tailored to organizational needs.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, and experience with a website builder (WordPress, Squarespace, etc.)
Proficiency in managing digital databases for tracking client and project information.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to craft compelling content and presentations.
Familiarity with managing external branding efforts, including websites, social media, and industry engagements.
