AWS Devops Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, automation, monitoring, and cloud security. The engineer will collaborate closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployments.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Manage Linux-based environments and perform system administration tasks.
• Implement security best practices, IAM policies, secrets management, and compliance controls.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
• Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification
• Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) Certification
• Experience with SRE practices and observability
• Experience supporting high-volume enterprise applications.

Education

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
