Job Description:

We are seeking a strong Python Backend Engineer with AI/LLM experience to join the DevX AI team working on next-generation developer productivity platforms.

The role focuses on building and enhancing AI-powered backend services, including code automation tools and intelligent workflow systems. The engineer will work with cutting-edge LLM-based technologies and contribute to scalable, production-grade backend architecture.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python backend development, along with hands-on experience in AI/LLM frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph. This role also involves production support, system monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI-driven services.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services using Python
Build and enhance AI/LLM-powered applications and workflows
Work with existing DevX AI product codebase (e.g., Code assistant, PR automation tools)
Design and build scalable REST APIs and backend systems
Monitor production systems and respond to alerts/incidents
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly
Improve system reliability, performance, and automation
Collaborate with engineering teams on AI-driven feature development

Required Skills:

Strong experience as a Python Backend Engineer (5 10 years)
Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based development
Strong expertise in REST APIs
Solid understanding of SDLC processes
Experience with LangChain and LangGraph
Experience supporting production systems and debugging issues

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized deployments
Exposure to AI agents, LLM workflows, or GenAI applications
Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
