Electrical Engineer
Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has multiple contract openings for Electrical Engineers to work onsite at their facility in Canonsburg, PA. You will participate as a member of a cross functional team to execute engineering tasking associated with Torpedo Guidance and control systems and the associated test equipment.-
- Work with cross functional teams including electrical, mechanical, software, systems, and test engineering to guarantee an integrated design that meets all requirements
- Follow tightly controlled engineering processes related to military applications, this includes writing requirements documents, test plans and procedures, etc.-
- Requires a Bachelor-s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
Qualifications:
- Ability to work as a part of a cross functional team or independently
- System analysis, architecture, requirements development, trade studies, algorithm design, modeling and simulation, or integration and test.
- Design and development of advanced electronics, including mixed-signal embedded designs, FPGA/SoC implementations, digital and analog circuitry, high-speed interfaces, and power-aware architectures
- Hands-on experience with embedded firmware, hardware-software integration, and lab-based bring-up/debug
- Demonstrated expertise in EMI/EMC, signal integrity, power integrity, and environmental qualification.
- Previous experience with AC and DC power supply design
- Understanding of different power supply topologies
- Previous design experience, specifically focused on high efficiency and low noise applications
- Strong communication skills, (written and verbal)
