Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role focuses on integrating third-party vendor systems with our internal eCommerce platform, which is built on Shopify. You will play a key part in ensuring seamless technical connections, enabling efficient vendor onboarding, and supporting the scalability of our marketplace.
Responsibilities:
Manage vendor integrations from initial technical intake through production deployment.
Guide vendors through Shopify-based integrations, including authentication, data structure requirements, and testing.
Develop, test, and troubleshoot connections between external vendor systems and internal marketplace infrastructure.
Review and transform vendor data inputs into standardized formats for internal use.
Create and maintain clear documentation to support multiple concurrent vendor onboarding efforts.
Provide assistance to internal developers on backend or data pipeline tasks related to integrations.
Ensure efficient reconciliation, normalization, and transformation of vendor inventory data.
Utilize and refine AI tools to assist in schema transformations for vendor data.
Collaborate with non-technical project managers to manage timelines and vendor communications.
Requirements
Hands-on experience integrating Shopify APIs with third-party vendor systems.
Strong expertise in working with structured data formats and APIs.
Proven ability to handle data reconciliation, normalization, and transformation tasks.
Familiarity with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and .NET Framework.
Ability to manage multiple integrations simultaneously at different stages.
Comfortable translating business needs into practical technical implementations.
Background in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to integrations.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
