Summary

We are looking for a Senior Sr. Clinical/Pharma Technology Product Owner. This is a full-time onsite position in RTP, North Carolina with our client.

Responsibilities as a Sr. Clinical/Pharma Technology Product Owner:

  • Promote product management strategies via the elicitation and refinement of software product requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Software Delivery Leads, and Core Team Members to manage portfolio scoping, coordinate release activities, and partner for value delivery
  • Deliver solutions to market that drive business value
  • Manage the software product backlog consisting primarily of features, stories, and product defects to ensure that the work defined for the development team
  • Balance candidate scope items via prioritization in collaboration with the cross-functional core team
  • Consider risk factors that could affect scope, schedule, and/or resources, and inform adequate contingency plans for potential issues
  • Support agile processes such as sprint planning, feature and story reviews and estimations, and incremental delivery
  • Facilitate scoping of software requirements to align product roadmaps with scope delivery
  • Support quality by ensuring the testability of requirements and the ongoing review of test cases and defects
  • Lead verification and validation with user acceptance testing for their cross-functional project team which includes UAT planning, execution, and reporting

Required skills as a Senior Sr. Clinical/Pharma Technology Product Owner:

  • 9+ years of hands-on experience working in a Product Owner role
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Pharma/Medication/Healthcare software solutions or similar software products
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Experience working in Lean/Agile software development teams
  • Experience using product management and development operations tools such as Aha!, Azure DevOps, or Jira
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor s Degree
