- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude while supporting daily paint shop operations
- Assist automotive painters with vehicle preparation prior to painting
- Sand, clean, and prep vehicle surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Mask and tape vehicles and components to protect areas not designated for paint
- Prepare and mix paint materials under the direction of the painter
- Maintain paint equipment, tools, and spray booth areas to ensure proper operation
- Support finishing work, including buffing, polishing, and final surface detailing
- Move vehicles in and out of the paint area as needed to support the workflow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant paint shop environment
- Follow proper material disposal and environmental guidelines for paints and chemicals
- Provide assistance to body shop technicians and team members as needed
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the work shift
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks involving bending, reaching, and hand use
