Job Description:
IT Project Manager

Location: Remote - with some quarterly travel to San Antonio, TX or Findlay, OH

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support a strategic business transformation initiative focused on process, technology, and organizational change. This individual will lead project execution, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and delivery coordination across multiple teams and workstreams. The project is currently in the planning phase and will continue through implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
  • Translate business objectives into executable project plans.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, resources, risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across business, technology, and leadership teams.
  • Drive project governance, documentation, and status reporting.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Agile Release Trains (ARTs) during PI Planning activities.
  • Support organizational readiness efforts throughout the transformation lifecycle.
  • Manage consulting vendor activities and delivery, working closely with program leadership.
  • Coordinate multiple project workstreams while ensuring stakeholder alignment and successful execution.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 8+ years of project or program management experience in large enterprise environments. Experience leading business transformation, process improvement, or operational change initiatives is required. Candidates must have a proven ability to manage executive stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendor partners. Experience working in Agile, Hybrid, and/or SAFe delivery environments, including supporting PI Planning is required. SAFe experience is required.

Business Knowledge: A strong understanding of Order-to-Cash, Commercial Operations, Terminal Operations, Supply Chain, or related business processes is necessary.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Teams, Azure DevOps, and/or Jira is required. Candidates must have strong experience with project planning, budgeting, forecasting, resource management, risk management, and governance. Experience working with enterprise systems and integrations is also required.

Certifications: PMP certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives.
  • Oil & Gas industry experience.
  • Experience managing consulting partners or systems integrators.
  • SAFe, Agile, or Scrum certifications.
  • Experience supporting organizational change and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
