Systems Integration Test Bench Engineering Specialist
Location: Lewisville, TX
Seeking an experienced engineer to support automotive test bench infrastructure, hardware integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance for software development and validation teams.
Responsibilities:
• Build, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot automotive test benches.
• Work with ME/EE/HW diagrams, wiring, harnesses, connectors, power, and communication interfaces.
• Troubleshoot CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, and LTE/5G interfaces.
• Install, replace, configure, and reflash ECUs, modems, sensors, and other bench components.
• Use oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for hardware/interface verification.
• Maintain bench documentation, configurations, and inventory.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures and perform root-cause analysis.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years in automotive electronics, test bench, system integration, or validation infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet, and ECU architecture.
• Experience with Vector CANoe/CANalyzer/CANape or equivalent.
• Hands-on wiring, connector, hardware, and bench troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical diagrams.
Plus: Python/CAPL/Linux scripting, Telematics, OTA, DoIP, MQTT, LTE/5G, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth.
