Come join Lockheed's Strategic Reentry Programs. This group of diverse Engineers has a long history of supporting the Air Force Mission reaching back to the 1960's. Today's challenge is to support the modernization of the Minuteman Weapon System by crafting, building, testing and deploying new Reentry Systems and Ground Equipment that will enable the new system to perform for many years to come. This critical mission area must be done right, pass meticulous certifications and last for many years to come. If this challenge is for you, you belong in SRP.
As a Systems Engineer Sr for the Sentinel program you will directly help establish the technical solution and overall system design for one of our country's most vital and sophisticated strategic systems!
In this role you typically will:
Develop test plans and support test procedure development
Coordinate the design IPTs and ATLO to define, design, and procure test equipment
Support requirements analysis and development of verification descriptions
Review specifications, models, drawings, and other engineering documentation
Support program design reviews and other milestones
Basic Qualifications
Knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes
Experience in one or more Systems Engineering functions, such as:
a.) Subsystem design or analysis
b.) CONOPS development
c.) Requirements development/analysis
d.) System trade studies
e.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
f.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
g.) Design reviews
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Active DoD Secret clearance or above
Desired skills
Engineering Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience in verification of requirements
Experience working in the development phase of a Space or Missile development program preferably for the US Government
Experience collaborating with internal and
external customers and executive leadership
Experience with ePDM and change processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced, synergetic team environment
Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members
Technical writing skills and experience
Active DoD Top Secret clearance

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
