ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Engineer with a technology company. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity with our client located in Cambridge, MA. This is a hybrid position.Responsibilities: - Develop and evolve AI-enabled assistants aligned to engineering workflows
- Help implement connections to engineering systems and accelerate their use, building integrations where needed
- Support development and testing of APIs, connectors, and data access patterns
- Hold regular AI office hours to accelerate adoption, experimentation, and learning
- Capture insights and emerging opportunities to guide future investment and prioritization
- Enable and accelerate the effective use of AI-enabled assistants within our client's global engineering department by supporting exploration, integration, and adoption of AI capabilities
- Translate engineering needs into practical use cases, enabling access to authoritative engineering data, and increasing hands-on engagement
Requirements: - Master degree OR Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience
- 1-2 years in a data engineering role post-graduation
- Awareness of current AI trends, tools, and release timing
- Strong working understanding of RAG-based systems, particularly data ingestion, retrieval quality, and response grounding
Pay range: Up to $42.52 per Hour
