Overview
We are seeking a mid-level Software Tester (QA Analyst) to support testing efforts for modern, enterprise-level web applications, including AI-enabled features. This role will focus on both manual and automated testing, ensuring quality across new feature development, enhancements, and defect resolution.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Selenium-based automation, API testing, and data validation, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment alongside developers, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
What You Will Do
• Execute functional, smoke, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for new features and enhancements
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
• Create and maintain clear, traceable test cases aligned with requirements and acceptance criteria
• Perform API testing using Postman and/or SoapUI, validating responses, error handling, and data integrity
• Validate application data using SQL queries across UI, API, and database layers
• Log, track, and verify defects through resolution using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members in Agile ceremonies
• Identify risk areas including access control, data handling, and system workflows, and support validation efforts
• Support testing of modern application features, including AI-enabled functionality such as search, recommendations, or chat-based components
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of QA / software testing experience within enterprise web applications
• 3+ years of automation experience using Selenium WebDriver (Selenium IDE alone is not sufficient)
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and testing purposes
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong understanding of test planning, test case design, and defect management
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience coding or scripting (Java preferred) to support test automation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated regression suites, and release validation
• Experience with Section 508 accessibility testing and tools such as JAWS
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing approaches or testing AI-enabled applications
• Experience working in federal, government, or other compliance-driven environments
• Familiarity with QA tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or Confluence
