Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Caledonia that are seeking IT Systems Administrators. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
• Manage and support virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V) for production systems.
• Administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi, to ensure factory uptime.
• Implement and monitor data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions for critical manufacturing data.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within Active Directory and other relevant systems.
• Provide technical support and resolution for hardware, software, and network issues across manufacturing operations.
• Maintain and update IT documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as an IT Systems Administrator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in managing and maintaining Windows Server environments (e.g., Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP).
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure (e.g., LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs) and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS).
• Familiarity with manufacturing-specific software systems (e.g., MES, SCADA, ERP) and their IT infrastructure requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues efficiently to minimize production downtime.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA or MES systems.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in an OT/ICS environment.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) in a production setting.
