Summary Entry-level professional with broad theoretical job knowledge. Works under general direction and guidance within standard processes for non-routine tasks. - Responsible for the design, layout, testing and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices
- Prepares design specifications, analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval
- Analyzes mechanical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Investigates solutions to product or process problems
- Consolidates results of mechanical design elements for assigned projects.
- Conducts investigations involving the origination or modification of material, component or process specifications or requirements.
- Performs product development activities including parametric CAD modeling, drawing creation, and interpretation/implementation of customer specifications and documentation requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements - Bachelor's degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
Preferred Skills - Machine shop experience and familiarity with hand tools
- Hands on support of manufacturing
- Experience with Model Based Engineering and GD&T
- Additive manufacturing design experience
