Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Risk/Controls Analyst/Technology Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in model governance, data visualization, and risk and control execution and a proven ability to deliver executive-ready reporting, strengthen control environments, and drive operational risk program deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Own established reporting while creating, automating, and enhancing real-time, executive-ready dashboards and visuals.
- Utilize Excel, SQL, and Tableau to analyze data and develop clear visualizations.
- Navigate and manage content within SharePoint and Confluence.
- Track and manage work items in Jira to support delivery and transparency.
- Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and proactive problem solving in a hybrid environment.
- Engage with team members and stakeholders with professional acumen and clear communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior line-of-business supervisors to ensure a robust and relevant control environment.
- Perform management, analysis, and execution of key control tasks as requested by the business.
- Participate in governance routines, including preparing and presenting documentation to diverse and senior audiences.
- Support and engage with internal stakeholders to coordinate and drive execution of priorities.
- Lead and contribute to program-wide initiatives to enrich the control framework, resolve audit issues, and perform deep-dives to identify control gaps requiring remediation.
- Collaborate with control and support partners to improve supervisory reporting, tools, and monitoring processes.
- Promote transparency and consistency of roles, processes, and accountabilities, and enhance governance documentation as needed.
- Drive operational risk deliverables, including Risk and Control Self Assessments, key metrics, and operational event reporting, as directed by senior leaders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Jira, SharePoint, Excel, Tableau, and SQL.
- Hands-on reporting, SharePoint administration, and data management experience.
- 3-5+ years of recent experience in a Risk & Control environment.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into concise language for varied audiences.
- Demonstrated ownership with increasing levels of accountability and delivery.
- Proven change agent with experience driving outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong collaboration and influence skills with the ability to motivate teams.
- Comfort with ambiguity and skill in analyzing, simplifying, and solving complex problems.
- Strategic thinker and self-starter who is organized and operates with minimal oversight.
- Ability to coordinate priorities and meet deadlines in adherence to policies and standards.
- Ability to connect themes across data and processes to perform thematic analysis.
- Competency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior Global Technology experience at Bank of America.
Work Location, Schedule, and Process
- Approved location: Pennington, NJ. Hybrid schedule with at least three days per week onsite.
- Target start: September or October.
- Interview process: One or two rounds. Video required. In-person interviews may be conducted. Glider ID verification required.
