IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.
Our client is looking for a strong Data Engineer to participate in our Data Management Program. Data is one of our most valuable assets and we strive to become a more data-literate and data-driven organization. This position will work on a small, collaborative team that uses agile practices to deliver value to our business partners.
NOTE: No WI residency required. Open to nationwide candidates. This position can work 100% remote within the continental US.

Skills Required:
- 6 years - Experience gathering requirements and developing technical specifications for ETL
- 6 years - Experience using ETL tools to design ETL jobs
- 2 years - Experience with Alteryx
- 6 years - Experience developing various types of data loads (e.g. incremental, history/full, survivorship rules)
- 4 years - Experience implementing change data capture (CDC)
- 6 years - Experience testing and debugging ETL
- 6 years - Recent experience developing complex SQL
- 2 years - Experience ETL job scheduling
- 2 years Experience loading data warehouses using ETL tools
Skills Desired A plus to have:
- Experience with the Management of multiple ETL tools
- Experience with data quality tools and frameworks
- Experience using source code version control software*** Rate depends on experience
