Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the analysis, design, and delivery of complex lending and fraud orchestration solutions within a Retail Lending environment. This individual will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Fraud Strategy, and Operations teams to gather requirements, define business and technical solutions, and ensure successful implementation of critical lending decisioning and fraud prevention capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical analysis skills, experience with API integrations and data mapping, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Fraud Strategy, and Operations stakeholders to analyze, define, and validate lending and fraud orchestration solutions.
  • Gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements for new initiatives, enhancements, and system integrations.
  • Analyze API integrations, data flows, and system interactions to support accurate lending decisioning and fraud detection processes.
  • Develop and maintain data mapping documentation, orchestration specifications, process flows, and technical artifacts.
  • Author clear, detailed, and testable user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements within Jira.
  • Maintain technical and functional documentation in Confluence, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support Agile delivery processes, including PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements prioritization.
  • Coordinate and manage dependencies across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to validate requirements and support testing activities.
  • Assist with production release readiness, implementation planning, and post-deployment validation.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise software, lending, financial services, or fraud prevention platforms.
  • Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with API integrations, data mapping, system interfaces, and workflow orchestration.
  • Proficiency creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation in Jira.
  • Experience maintaining technical documentation and knowledge repositories in Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies, including PI Planning and backlog management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Retail Lending, Consumer Lending, Credit Decisioning, or Fraud Management platforms.
  • Knowledge of lending origination, underwriting, servicing, or fraud detection workflows.
  • Experience working with microservices architectures, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with orchestration engines, decisioning platforms, or workflow management solutions.
  • Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation or modernization initiatives.
