Data Analyst

The Division of Integrated District Supports is seeking a Data Analyst to help develop and maintain a data platform that presents school system information in a clear, actionable way. This role focuses on transforming complex data into meaningful insights and practical recommendations that support schools in setting goals and improving student outcomes.

Key responsibilities include analyzing school and statutory data, identifying trends and overlaps in federal and state reporting requirements, and recommending data-driven improvements. The analyst will build and manage low-code tools (such as Power Platform and Qualtrics), dashboards, surveys, and tracking systems that make it easy for schools and agency staff to view data, submit information, and monitor progress without needing technical expertise. The role also involves creating scoring tools and performance trackers (e.g., Excel scorecards) to evaluate applications and measure results over time.

Required Skills & Experience:
12+ years in data analytics and data storytelling
8+ years of low-code platform experience
5+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel skills
3+ years of data visualization experience (Power BI)

Preferred:
Experience with Qualtrics and Smartsheet
Background working with state agencies or in the education sector
