Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 12+ years of hands-on IT experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade Java applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Cloud (AWS preferred), Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases, and CI/CD practices. Experience working in Agile environments and developing scalable, high-performance distributed systems is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale Java applications using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices-based applications.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database solutions.
• Implement asynchronous messaging solutions using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Build automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
• Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product owners.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical architecture decisions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release management activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native application development.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, and enterprise security practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of container orchestration and service mesh technologies.
• Experience with financial services, banking, healthcare, or insurance domains is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React or Angular for full-stack development.
• Exposure to GraphQL.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch and distributed caching.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, etc.).
• Java certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or cloud certifications (AWS/Azure).
