Role: Application Delivery Engineer

Location: Remote (Need consultants only from UT Location)

Duration: 12-18 Months

Job Summary:

• The Application Delivery Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications and integrations within a Calypso trading and risk management environment.
• This role will focus on building scalable Java-based solutions, integrating financial systems, and supporting cloud and DevSecOps initiatives.
• This position will work across application development, system integration, cloud deployment, and production support.
• Responsibilities include customizing Calypso modules, developing REST APIs and microservices, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and supporting enterprise applications using Java, JBoss, MQ, and ETL processes.
• The ideal candidate will have strong Java development experience, deep knowledge of financial systems and risk platforms, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of software and application development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Calypso development experience.
• Strong experience with the Calypso API.
• Expert-level Java programming skills.
• Experience building Java REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of application servers and software development lifecycles.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, Terraform, or similar.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications using Java, JBoss, MQ, and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of FX products, market risk, and credit risk.

BonSoft Skills:

• Experience integrating with financial market utilities such as DTCC SDR, Markitwire, Bloomberg TOMS SEF, WebICE, AcadiaSoft, or TriResolve.
• Experience integrating with General Ledger, SWIFT, FedWire, or ACH systems.
• Experience with Nasdaq CapCloud or Oracle-based cloud environments.
• Experience with alternative FX platforms such as Wall Street Systems or Spectrum.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
