Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:
  • Get an in-depth understanding of the Fusion application and the service products, their architecture, and the cloud deployment architecture.
  • Design and develop comprehensive benchmarks to simulate real customer workloads to evaluate the performance, scalability, and reliability of the products, and propose KPI metrics.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot performance and scalability issues in software applications and systems, identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Work with multiple development teams to optimize the products.

Qualifications:
  • BS or above in Engineering or computer Science
  • 7+ years of Java / python software engineering or related experience.
  • Experience with SQL and Oracle RDBMS.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix operating system.
  • Excellent analysis, problem troubleshooting and solving skills.
  • Self-motivated to take initiative in solving difficult problems.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have experience:
  • Vector database expertise a big plus.
  • AI/ML, and prompt engineering experience a big plus.
  • Python and Linux scripting / profiling a big plus.
  • ADW experience a plus.
  • Analysis and identification of performance bottleneck in complicated cloud env.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure like compute, database, storage, networking, etc. a plus.
  • Oracle WebLogic Application server experience a plus.
  • Experience of using standard tools, like MAT, JProfiler, JDeveloper, etc., to investigate application and application server performance issues, and Database CPU, Memory, Response Time, and Network bottlenecks.
  • Hardware performance.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
