Job Title: Workday Project Manager – Healthcare

Location: Remote (Pacific Time)
Travel: 15–25% onsite for key milestones

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Project Manager with a strong background in Healthcare HCM and Payroll to lead a high-impact implementation. This role is highly coordination-focused, acting as a “traffic controller” across multiple stakeholders and workstreams rather than hands-on configuration.

The ideal candidate must be able to hit the ground running, as the discovery phase is compressed and critical, requiring immediate productivity and strong execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Workday HCM/Payroll projects in a healthcare environment

• Coordinate across cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders

• Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals

• Act as the central point of coordination (“traffic cop”) across all workstreams

• Drive dependency management, risk mitigation, and issue resolution

• Facilitate executive-level communication and status reporting

• Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific payroll and workforce regulations

• Support and manage discovery, planning, and execution phases under tight timelines

• Oversee change management and stakeholder engagement

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–12+ years of Project Management experience

• Proven experience managing Workday HCM and Payroll implementations

• Strong background in Healthcare domain

• Deep understanding of:

  • Union rules and labor agreements

  • Wage and hour compliance

  • Regulatory reporting requirements

• Expertise in project coordination, dependency management, and stakeholder communication

• Ability to manage fast-paced, high-pressure project environments

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
