Summary

Join a dynamic End User Computing engineering team where you'll help ensure software is packaged, tested, and deployed smoothly across a global enterprise. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern endpoint management tools, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to reliable application delivery at scale.
Responsibilities
  • Lead software packaging and deployment efforts while helping maintain standards, workflows, and service-level expectations.
  • Partner with application owners and stakeholders to gather requirements, assess complexity, and deliver packaging solutions in MECM (SCCM) and Intune.
  • Build and test application packages for silent and attended installations using MSI + MST, MSIX, and INTUNEWIN formats.
  • Support package validation through development testing, application owner review, QA handoff, and pre-pilot deployment activities.
  • Assist with enterprise deployment management, including phased rollouts for select applications.
  • Maintain accurate application records, including ownership, versioning, lifecycle status, and vendor details.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and provide updates on packaging work and resource planning.
  • Troubleshoot packaging, deployment, and client-side issues using logs, tools, and technical analysis.
  • Support the lifecycle of applications, including upgrades, replacements, and retirements.
Skills
  • Bachelor's degree plus 9+ years of experience in software packaging, packaging management, or software deployment.
  • Strong experience in a mature enterprise IT environment.
  • Hands-on knowledge of MECM (SCCM) and Intune, including packaging-related modules and objects.
  • Experience with Windows 11 application packaging.
  • Strong PowerShell skills.
  • Ability to work with secure or sensitive information and meet role requirements tied to access and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience supporting co-managed environments and application migration from MECM to Intune.
  • Knowledge of MECM OSD Task Sequences and Intune Autopilot.
  • Ability to work effectively in a customer-focused, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of MECM Current Branch and Intune.
  • Experience with software packaging tools such as InstallShield, Admin Studio, the Win32 Content Prep Tool, and Winget.
  • Familiarity with application control, configuration, AutoPilot, and compliance policies in Intune.
  • Experience with enterprise privilege management allow/deny lists.
  • Working knowledge of macOS, Ubuntu, and common browsers such as Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
  • Experience using tools like Perfmon, Procmon, and Windows Performance Toolkit.
  • Knowledge of networking and server fundamentals, including WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Exposure to Batch and BASH scripting in addition to PowerShell.
