Job Description:

Responsible for defining, architecting, and governing enterprisescale server build and provisioning platforms across onpremises virtualized, and hybrid cloud environments. Reviews architectural exceptions, and ensures alignment with disaster recovery, performance, storage optimization, and compliance requirements across the server estate. Key Responsibilities

• Define and own Day 0 and Day 1 server build and provisioning architecture
• Design standardized server build blueprints, golden images, and automation frameworks
• Architect provisioning and deprovisioning solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code
• Establish enterprise security, compliance, and hardening standards
• Lead provisioning automation strategy using Ansible, PowerShell, Terraform, or cloud-native tools
• Govern server lifecycle management including onboarding and retirement
• Review and approve non-standard build requests and architectural deviations
• Mentor L2/L3 engineers and provide technical leadership
• Partner with cloud, security, and platform architects on enterprise initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement and modernization of provisioning platforms
• Experience in Citrix on prem (VDI) and Citrix cloud config along with hands-on NetScaler configuration and upgrades.
• Design, provision, and manage VMware vSphere / ESXi environments supporting enterprise workloads
• Strong knowledge of implementing large-scale eDiscovery infrastructure and application projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex build, integration, and deployment issues
• Optimize storage performance, cost, and capacity utilization
• Familiarity with SAN/NAS concepts and enterprise storage platforms
• Implement encryption at rest and in transit
• Support disaster recovery (RPO / RTO) requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in server infrastructure with 4+ years in architecture or design roles
• Deep expertise in Windows and Linux server architecture
• Proven experience designing automated provisioning at scale
• Advanced knowledge of virtualization and hybrid cloud platforms
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD integration
• Strong understanding of enterprise security and compliance requirements
• Excellent stakeholder communication and design documentation skills
• Azure applications Gateway and Web Applications Firewall (WAF)

Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have)

• Architecture certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, VMware VCAP)
• Experience with service catalogs and self-service provisioning
• Exposure to platform engineering or SRE operating models
• Enterprise ITIL and governance experience
• Experience on BlueCat , Zscaler, Infoblox , CyberArk
