We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, optimize, and secure PostgreSQL database environments. 
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability, 
disaster recovery, and database security.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain PostgreSQL database servers.
Perform database administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Optimize SQL queries, indexes, execution plans, and database performance.
Manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
Configure and maintain PostgreSQL replication, streaming replication, and high availability solutions.
Monitor database health, availability, capacity, and resource utilization.
Implement database security, user access controls, roles, and permissions.
Perform database migrations, upgrades, patching, and version management.
Identify and resolve database-related performance bottlenecks and production issues.
Work closely with application developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
Develop and maintain database scripts for automation and routine maintenance.
Ensure database availability, reliability, scalability, and data integrity.

Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Database Administration (DBA).
Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database administration.
Excellent knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning and query optimization.
Strong knowledge of indexing, partitioning, vacuuming, and database maintenance.
Experience with backup and recovery tools such as pg_dump, pg_restore, and pg_basebackup.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL replication and high availability.
Knowledge of database security, authentication, and access management.
Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
