Duties: Design, develop, and test software applications. Design, develop, and/or test software applications using company technology stack. Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex data, developments, and projects in order to provide recommendations to resolve technical issues. Support the company's business operations and improve engineering productivity. Build software components that can be integrated into a fully functional software system. Solve production issues in product and system reliability. May telecommute.
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 2 years in:
01. C++, Python, Java, GoLang, GIT, or SVN;
02. SQL and NoSQL;
03. Data structures and algorithms development and functionality;
04. Designing technology stacks;
05. Software Development Lifecycle;
06. Presto and Hive for data analysis and log management;
07. Kafka, an open-source messaging system, including code integration;
08. Experience with Redis key-value caching, encompassing usage and debugging practices;
09. Large-scale distributed file systems such as Terrablob/S3 for data persistence, modeling, and analysis;
10. Fault-tolerant systems and multi-datacenter/cloud architectures.
