Indotronix is seeking a Senior Axiom Developer in Dallas, TX for our direct client

Position Title: Senior Axiom Developer

Position Location: Dallas, TX

Ability to work remote: Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 remote to start, must be willing to come onsite 5 days in future

Acceptable time zone(s): EST

Days of the week: M-F 40 hours

Working Hours: M-F 8-5 EST

OT: Possible, only if there is a weekend release

Duration: Contract to hire

Industry background:

Finance banking background required - Axiom

Roles/Responsibilities:

Regulatory Risk and Compliance Reporting The Regulatory Risk and Compliance Reporting team in Business Technology and Innovation Group at client is dedicated to developing innovative technology solutions to support the Regulatory submissions of the Bank.

The Software Developer Principal will work on data intensive Applications that support business and regulatory requirements related to FRY 9c, FRY 14M/Q, Single counterparty Credit limit FR2590, Basel III, FDIC 370/371.

Technical Skills:

• 5-8 years of reporting experience in AxiomSL platform and configuration expertise with very large data sets.

• Intermediate level database design and programming skills – SQL PLSQL

• Intermediate level skills in data analysis and data modeling

• Experience with using R or Python would be advantageous.

• Knowledge and experience of data modeling and data warehouse concepts.

• Working knowledge of software design patterns and architecture

• Leads complex problem solving and provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.

• Proposes, designs & codes software solutions to address complex business needs.

• Oversees technical and procedural documentation as required.

Soft Skills:

• Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Provides consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve business results.

• Extensive experience in the analysis, definition and documentation of business and data requirements.

Must Have Skills:

• AxiomSL platform and configuration expertise

• SQL/PLSQL

• Data analysis/data modeling

• Knowledge and experience of data modeling and data warehouse concepts.

• Working knowledge of software design patterns and architecture

Flex Skills:

• R or Python experience

• Experience working with specific regulations or regulatory reports

• Banking basics general knowledge

Soft Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Teamwork, cross collaboration

• Banking basics general knowledge

Education:

• Bachelors required. Will only consider experience in lieu of education.
