Job Description:
Vice President - Senior Platform Engineer
We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President / Senior Platform Engineer to join our Digital Infrastructure and Software Engineering team.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
You will help build, operate, and improve secure, resilient engineering platforms that support modern software delivery, digital infrastructure, and critical business services.
Design, build, and support platform engineering capabilities that enable software teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable applications.
Contribute to Kubernetes-based platform development, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines to improve engineering productivity and operational stability.
Support cloud-native engineering practices across AWS-based environments, including container orchestration, GitOps workflows, and infrastructure as code.
Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues, improve deployment practices, and strengthen platform reliability.
Help implement secure software delivery practices and controls aligned to enterprise and regulatory expectations, including vulnerability management and proactive security measures.
Develop and support engineering tooling and automation capabilities using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, Python, and Go.
Enable engineering teams through documentation, knowledge-sharing sessions, and technical guidance that improves adoption of best practices.
Support monitoring, alerting, observability, and incident response capabilities for critical systems and platforms.
Contribute to platform evaluation and tooling decisions to improve developer experience, scalability, and maintainability.
Work with stakeholders across delivery, operations, and product teams to ensure timely and effective technical execution.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
Additional practical experience or postgraduate study in cloud infrastructure, security, or platform engineering is a plus.
EXPERIENCE
Strong experience in platform engineering and DevOps engineering within high-performing technical teams.
Experience building and supporting Kubernetes-based platforms and cloud-native engineering environments.
Strong familiarity with AWS services including EKS, ECS, RDS, VPC, Secrets Manager, S3, and Route53.
Deep experience with infrastructure as code, GitOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices using Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, GitHub, and GitLab.
Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational support using technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, and CloudWatch.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across complex technical environments.
Experience implementing secure deployment practices, vulnerability scanning, and compliance-focused infrastructure controls.
Experience supporting engineering enablement through guides, training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing.
Familiarity with performance optimization and large-scale environment upgrades, including zero-downtime operational changes.
Exposure to distributed financial infrastructure or blockchain-based platforms is a plus.
Experience working across remote or cross-functional teams in delivery-focused engineering environments.
