Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to join our data team. This role is ideal for entry level candidates and early-career professionals looking to build scalable data pipelines, support data warehousing solutions, and work with cloud-based big data technologies.

You will collaborate with Senior Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and BI teams to design and maintain reliable data systems that power analytics and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines

• Develop batch and real-time data processing workflows

• Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation

• Support data warehouse and data lake development

• Ensure data quality, validation, and integrity

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues

• Work with structured and unstructured datasets

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM field

• 0–2 years of experience (internship or academic projects acceptable)

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Basic understanding of data modeling and data warehousing

• Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
