GenAI Engineer
Location: Hybrid, 3 days a week in New York, Montreal, or Alpharetta, GA
Role Summary: Design, build, and integrate AI capabilities into IAM platforms, focusing on improving access decisions, certification quality, and governance workflows. The role is all about embedding decision intelligence directly into access management systems.
Core Skills:
-Strong Python skills for data processing and feature generation, solid SQL, and the ability to build and manage complex data pipelines across identity, entitlement, and usage data.
-Experience developing AI-enabled, agentic workflows especially multi-step (reason?? retrieve?? decide?? act) and tool-based architectures (API calls, system queries, function chaining) with familiarity in frameworks like LangChain or similar orchestration layers.
-Hands-on expertise in building classification/scoring models and recommendation systems, blending rule-based logic and data-driven approaches with a focus on explainability, reproducibility, and reliability.
-Proven experience integrating AI workflows into enterprise applications, embedding decision logic into workflows, working with APIs, and ensuring that outputs are actionable within our platforms.
-Workflow and decision orientation practical experience enhancing access request flows, certification/review processes, and lifecycle events, all with an eye on improving decision quality, cycle times, and the experience for reviewers and approvers.
-Strong understanding of distributed environments, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform), and preferably identity/security platforms, with a clear grasp of system integration and data flow.
