SAP BASIS Architect

Job Summary

Serve as a Senior Technology Architect with deep expertise in generative AI, SAP technical upgrades, SAP Basis administration, and product lifecycle management, designing scalable hybrid solutions that modernize enterprise platforms, optimize system performance, and enable secure innovation while aligning with business objectives in a global MNC environment.

Responsibilities

·        Design end to end SAP landscapes that integrate generative AI capabilities with core ERP and product lifecycle management processes to deliver measurable business value and operational resilience in a hybrid work model

·        Architect SAP technical upgrade roadmaps that minimize downtime, reduce risk, and ensure compatibility with existing customizations while aligning with long term enterprise platform strategies

·        Oversee complex SAP Basis administration activities including system installations, client strategies, and system copies to maintain robust, secure, and highly available environments across development and production tiers

·        Optimize system performance through proactive capacity planning, workload analysis, and tuning of SAP application and database layers to provide consistent response times for critical business operations

·        Coordinate and validate transport management processes and change deployments across SAP landscapes to ensure traceability, compliance, and predictable release outcomes for multi project programs

·        Implement robust monitoring and alerting frameworks using enterprise tools to detect bottlenecks and incidents early, enabling rapid resolution and continuous improvement of system reliability

·        Guide multidisciplinary teams on best practices for integrating generative AI services with SAP processes to enhance user experience, decision support, and automation while respecting governance and data protection standards

·        Develop reference architectures, patterns, and technical standards that describe how generative AI, SAP Basis, and product lifecycle management systems should interoperate to support future ready digital platforms
