Job Title: Business Analyst SAP S/4HANA ERP Implementation (Planning / Product / Cost / Delivery)

Location: San Francisco, CA

Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support multiple SAP ERP implementation workstreams including Planning, Product, Cost, and Delivery. The ideal candidate will work closely with Business Process Owners (BPOs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), SAP functional teams, and implementation partners to gather requirements, document business processes, support testing, validate solutions, and assist with go-live activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support workstream leads throughout the SAP S/4HANA ERP implementation lifecycle.
  • Document and maintain current-state and future-state business processes across:
    • Supply Chain Planning
    • Product Engineering & New Product Introduction (NPI)
    • Product Quality & Manufacturing Processes
    • Procurement, Sourcing & Supplier Management
    • Fulfillment Operations & Global Logistics
    • Trade Compliance & Reverse Logistics
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, process reviews, and solution validation sessions.
  • Partner with SAP functional teams to ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in solution designs.
  • Review proposed solutions and identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and business impacts.
  • Develop and maintain:
    • Process flows
    • Business scenarios
    • Functional requirements
    • Testing documentation
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including:
    • Test planning
    • Test script creation
    • Test execution support
    • Defect tracking and resolution using XRay in Jira
    • Test status reporting
  • Perform data validation activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated and converted data.
  • Support master data validation and reconciliation activities.
  • Track and manage risks, issues, action items, and dependencies.
  • Support business readiness activities including documentation, training, and go-live preparation.
  • Assist business users during deployment, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, Logistics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Procurement Analyst, Logistics Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes.
  • Experience supporting ERP/SAP implementation projects.
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and business validation.
  • Experience with data validation and migration activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

SAP / ERP

  • SAP S/4HANA experience preferred.
  • SAP IBP, SAP Ariba, or other ERP platforms experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting business transformation initiatives.
